Check out the wedding from this past weekend that Experience and Creative Design did. The ceremony was at St. Josephs Church in Schenectady and the reception was at the Stockade Inn. The color was a Tiffany Blue. Simple large martini glasses with silk flower orbs were used as the centerpieces. All of the bouquets and boutonnieres were also created by the staff at Experience and Creative Design.
The staff at Experience and Creative Design are working hard to get the store ready for the Fall Open House, Saturday September 8th from 10am-7pm and Sunday the 9th from 11am-4pm. We are painting the walls, floors and risers to display all of our new merchandise. If you RSVP by September 7th, you will be entered into a drawing to win a custom floral piece ($200 value.) Make sure you come check it out. It will be a whole new “experience!”
Rudy Grant and David Siders recently went to the Dallas Market Center, in Dallas, Texas for five days, scoping out and buying new product for the store. They go twice a year; In January, to buy product for the following Christmas and then again in June or July to buy product for the following spring. They shop from 8am – 8pm trying to find the most unique and creative product to bring back to the store.
The market building has 5 million square feet of resources and holds about 50 trade events each year including everything from home furnishings, lighting and accessories to food and fashion. There are 200,000 visitors annually and is considered the “Leading Marketplace”.
